Meet the Team

 

My name is Andrew Wallis.  I am the owner of AW Fitness Consulting Limited and the leading fat loss expert on the Isle of Man.


I am a certified fitness professional and specialise in creating personalised weight loss programs for busy executives and women.  I am also a certified Nautilus trainer and a Nutrition and Weight Management Consultant.

In 2004 I started Work Out Smarter because I realized there were many people who weren't comfortable with the idea of going to a gym or a health club.

Some were too intimidated.  Others don't like getting tied into contracts associated with health clubs.  And some just wanted more privacy.

But above all else, the main problem I discovered was the lack of results most health club members actually get.  They pay their monthly memberships.  They workout 3 times a week like they're told by the club staff...
But they just don't get the results they want.

When I started WorkOutSmarter, I vowed to give people the help and guidance they didn't get at the health club.  Exercise does work.  But you have to have a plan.

A lot of health clubs give each member the same generic exercise routine they give everyone else.  Unfortunately, it just doesn't work that way. 

Everyday my team and I work with people from all walks of life and we help them improve their level of fitness and burn away body fat they thought they could never get rid of.

We take this very seriously.  We do it because it's our passion, but it's also how we earn our living.
So I guess now is a good time for you to meet the team…



ANDREW WALLIS

DAVID BARTLETT
- Fitness Consultant

Dave started work in the fitness industry in 1997 as a gym instructor and later worked as an Assistant Manager for Fitness Express, a large chain of private health and fitness clubs.

He is a keen sportsman particularly loving the outdoor, “extreme” sports! He has lived and worked in Austria, Switzerland and the UK and is a qualified teacher of English.

He loves teaching exercise classes, such as SPIN and Circuit training, but takes most joy out of working one-to-one with a client to help achieve a specific goal.

Education and Qualifications Include…

• Advanced Instructor – Level 3 REPS (Register of Exercise Professionals)

He currently hold the following fitness related qualifications:

• CYQ (Awarding body for YMCA fitness qualifications) Level 3 Advanced Instructor

JAMES MOFFETT
- Fitness Consultant

James is a keen distance runner and has completed 9 Marathons and over 20 Half-Marathons. The remainder of his leisure time is taken up supporting Liverpool FC.

His aims as a Personal Trainer are to ensure that all clients receive a totally customer focused service at all times.

Rachel
- Fitness Consultant

I work full time as a Personal Trainer and have a passion for fitness, promoting the benefits of a healthy lifestyle and in helping others to achieve their fitness goals.

I started training as a personal trainer in 2008 and alongside personal training I’m qualified in teaching a range of group exercise classes including Aerobics, Body Conditioning, Circuit Training, Kettlebell Training, Step and Studio Cycling.

I’ve just got back from climbing Mount Kilimanjaro in Tanzania and with a proper training programme I was able to achieve my goal and learn so much about myself in the process.  You can do the same with an individual workout plan that is designed for you and continually updated so you too can achieve your personal goals.
